福利理伦 students, faculty and staff can now add their Marshall Mobile ID cards to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay, and use their smart phone and Apple Watch around campus. By simply placing their phone or Apple Watch near a reader where physical campus IDs are accepted, they can enter residence halls, libraries and the Rec Center, buy lunch, make purchases at the university bookstore, print documents, and more.<\/p>\n

What is Marshall Mobile ID?<\/h2>\n

福利理伦 Campus ID Office is now bringing you Marshall Mobile ID (MMID). MMID allows users to load their Marshall ID card onto their mobile device to replace your standard MUID card with your smart phone or Apple Watch. This will allow all students, faculty, and staff to perform all necessary functions they use every day with their MUID card but with their mobile devices instead. Read below for more instructions on how to become enrolled in Marshall Mobile ID.<\/p>\n

Key Features<\/h2>\n

Members of the 福利理伦 community can now leave their physical wallets behind and get around campus with just their mobile devices. By simply placing your smart phone or Apple Watch near a reader where physical student IDs are accepted. It works anywhere on campus where your MUID card is accepted, such as, access to enter residence halls, the Study Center and the Rec Center, campus events, the Marshall Artist Series, and sporting events, make purchases at the Marshall Bookstore, vending machines, and dining services.<\/p>\n

Easy to use \u2013 simply hold your supported phone or Apple Watch near the reader where you would normally tap or swipe your MUID card.<\/p>\n

Before Getting Started On Mobile Devices and Requirements<\/h2>\n

Effective June 1, 2020 we will only be issuing Marshall Mobile IDs.\u00a0 <\/strong>Mobile ID can be set up remotely.\u00a0 It is not necessary to visit the ID in Office in person.\u00a0 Below are steps listed for new\/incoming students as well as current students. Photo submissions and ID verification is now done online.\u00a0 Please find and follow the instructions for your current status. upon following these guidelines and instructions there are also videos below to help with the process of setting up your Marshall Mobile ID.<\/p>\n

For new incoming students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0In order for the ID Office to take photo submissions a student must be registered for the current or upcoming term.<\/li>\n
  2. After class registration has been completed, 福利理伦’s ID Office will send an email out to students through their 福利理伦 email. The email that is sent will ask students to submit two types of photo images for the 福利理伦 ID Offices approval.\u00a0 To request the email with the link to upload your ID image and government issued photo ID please contact the ID Office at 304-696-6843 or campusid@marshall.edu<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Two items are required to be uploaded:\u00a0 a photo of the student and an image of a federal ID (a driver’s license or a passport.) Please read step 4 and 5 thoroughly as these steps cover the guidelines needed for the photo submissions and their future approval.<\/li>\n
  4. All photo submissions made to the 福利理伦 ID Office through the remote photo submission email must follow these guidelines.\n
